I am a Nashville native and have been working in the fitness industry since 2007. My interest in yoga started when I was a ballet dancer — taking a yoga class was an occasional treat at the time, and I vividly remember walking out of my first yoga class during savasana because it was just too weird! Luckily, I didn't give up on yoga, and what started as a once in a while class became a daily necessity to practice.
I eventually started teaching a few classes for the YMCA around 2009, and completed my 200 hour RYT in Yoga Harmony's Teacher Training in 2015. I absolutely love waking up every day and being able to help people find their own strength and confidence both on and off the mat. I am super humbled and grateful to be part of such a wonderful team of teachers and students at Yoga Harmony! I hope to share not only the physical practice of yoga with students, but also how yoga can blend into your whole life if you let it.
Off the mat, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Registered Nurse. I am also a Level 1 Crossfit coach, pilates instructor, and Lagree Method coach. Additionally, I have a crazed orange tabby named Sir Pouncealot. You're most likely to find me doing crossfit, training for triathlons, searching for delicious coffee and sushi around town...and most importantly practicing yoga (asana and otherwise!).
