Nine years ago, I stayed at an Ashram preceding ever stepping into a yoga class. The seed took root and steadily over the years, I continued to be drawn back to this healing modality. The simplicity actions of breath and the vibrational tones of Sanskrit altered my direction in life. The creation of strength and flexibility can be had by just showing up for yourself each day and letting go of personal expectations.
Teaching others what I've learned has become my joy! It is my desire to guide individuals to be accepting of their own bodies and also lighthearted with their limitations.
Yoga is what you do on the mat and off the mat: treat others with respect and yourself with the utmost understanding. It is also creating shapes with your body...get our of your head and try again tomorrow.
