I'm a native Tennessean who has been active and athletic since a young age. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with my Bachelor in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing, I was looking for more. Upon stumbling into an entirely new journey in my life in 2010, I began to pursue my passion for fitness. Which lead me to become certified in many different formats and styles. I have certifications in Group Fitness (AFAA), YMCA Group Fitness, Les Mills BodyFlow, Power Pilates Mat I, Barre (Xtend and Barre Above-Nov 2016), Beachbody PiYo, Strala Yoga, TRX (STC and GTC) and ASHI CPR and Basic First Aid.
Knowing my passion has been and is in yoga, I decided to become a 200hr RYT through Yoga Harmony's teacher training program in 2016. I want to continue to work toward my 500hr with hopes of becoming a E-RYT 500 in the future.
Although yoga can be an intimidating to the novice, it's the one I'm most passionate about because it changed everything for the better in my life. Most of my classes focus on aliment and flexibility while gaining strength and balance using your breath to create a mind-body connection. As we move through a class together I will encourage you to use your senses as you take a journey to find comfort and ease within your body wherever you are. My classes will leave you feeling longer, stronger and more centered with a different vibe every time whether it's Restorative/Yin, Vinyasa or Hot 26.
